our process, services, and how we work.

ChatGPT Ads are sponsored placements that appear below ChatGPT's responses. Each one carries the advertiser's name, favicon, a title, a short description, an image, and a link to a landing page. They are clearly labelled and stay separate from the answer itself. OpenAI shows them to logged-in adults on its free and lower-cost tiers. People on Plus, Pro, and business plans do not see ads, and accounts identified as belonging to under-18 users are excluded.

Yes. OpenAI opened self-service advertising through OpenAI Ads Manager at ads.openai.com. Any business with an eligible account, a verified billing profile and a landing page that meets OpenAI's ad policies can create campaigns. Larger advertisers with more complex requirements can also work through OpenAI's ads sales team or an agency partner. Progbiz sets up and runs the Ads Manager account on your behalf while ownership stays with you.

Yes. India is listed as available for self-service access in OpenAI's Ads Manager availability documentation, alongside markets including the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Japan, and several Gulf and North African countries. Not every market is covered yet, so if you advertise across multiple countries, it is worth checking the current list before committing budget. We check availability for every campaign we set up.

OpenAI's system selects ads on expected relevance. It weighs the context and intent of the current conversation, your ad title and copy, your landing page, and the context hints set at ad group level. Where a user has ads personalisation enabled, it may also use selected signals from their wider ChatGPT experience. Eligible ads then compete in a relevance-weighted second-price auction. Advertisers never see anyone's private conversations.

With Google Ads, someone types a short query and you bid on matching keywords. With social ads, targeting leans on interests, demographics and past behaviour. ChatGPT sits somewhere else. People explain their situation in far more detail than a search box allows, so matching draws on the context of that conversation rather than an exact keyword match. In practice it means writing for a described problem, not a two-word query.

Not in the way Google Ads does. You can supply context hints at ad group level describing the conversations, topics or keywords where your product or service is relevant. Those hints help guide matching, but they are not exact-match keywords and they do not guarantee delivery in any particular conversation. Your landing page, title and ad copy also act as relevance signals, so all of them need to point at the same thing.

There are two buying options. The Clicks objective is bought on a cost-per-click basis and the Reach objective on a cost-per-thousand-impressions basis. You set a maximum bid at ad group level, and OpenAI currently suggests starting around $3 to $5 per click for CPC campaigns. Reporting from OpenAI's India launch put daily budgets starting at roughly Rs 725. Actual cost depends on objective, category, relevance and competition, so we begin with a controlled test budget rather than a fixed quote.

Yes. Progbiz works as a ChatGPT Ads agency handling the full cycle: deciding whether the channel suits your business, setting up the Ads Manager account, building campaigns and ad groups, writing context hints, producing titles, descriptions and images, aligning landing pages, configuring conversion measurement, and optimising once data arrives. You keep ownership of the ad account and the data. You can reach our advertising team on +91 98469 82593 or at info@progbiz.io.

No. Ads are separate sponsored placements shown below a response. Paying for ads does not influence what ChatGPT says in its answer, and no agency can buy a mention inside one. If you want to improve how AI assistants describe and recommend your business, that is different work involving your content, your site structure, and the sources these systems draw on. Be cautious of anyone who claims they can buy you a place in the answer.

Five things. A clear offer worth advertising. A landing page for that specific offer, not your homepage, that loads properly and does not block OpenAI's crawlers. Working conversion tracking, so you can tell whether clicks turn into enquiries. A test budget you are comfortable spending while the campaign learns. And someone who can answer the leads it produces. If any of these are missing, fixing them first will save you money.
